Deputy Manager Opportunity

Greensleeves Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to work full-time at Torkington House.

Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident, monitoring and maintaining these standards;
  • Assist with the management of the Homes staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement in staff recruitment and selection
  • Take responsibility for the running of the Home in the absence of the Home Manager
  • Lead and facilitate in staff and residents meetings, staff training and development activities.

Requirements

To apply, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home
  • Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards
  • Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
  • Excellent communication and administration skills along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload
