Kaplan Living is recruiting for one (1) passionate and professional Deputy Manager to join our student residence team based in Liverpool.

About the Role

You will report to the General Manager, supporting the efficient operation of our student housing to deliver an exceptional residential and customer experience.

As part of a caring and inclusive team, you will contribute to maintaining a "home from home" atmosphere for international students, fostering a vibrant social community in a safe and secure environment where students can thrive.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

The successful applicant should demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication, engaging effectively with both customers and colleagues
  • A passion for customer care and a deep understanding of student needs
  • Relevant experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in hospitality, student services, or accommodation management
  • Proficiency in health, safety, and compliance standards aligned with legislation
  • Ability to manage budgets, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in essential IT tools (MS Word, Excel) and a willingness to develop new skills
  • Flexibility in working hours, including out-of-hours emergency support when required
  • Familiarity with the ANUK Accreditation Scheme
