Deputy Manager – Lammas Lodge

About the Role

Lammas Lodge is seeking a Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. Positioned in the picturesque Herefordshire village of Lugwardine, we provide residential support for seven adult males on the autism spectrum in a semi-rural location with spectacular countryside views.

Our mission is simple: to improve the health and wellbeing of the residents we support, helping them achieve healthier, happier, and more independent lives in a safe and inclusive environment. Our team emphasises a personalised, compassionate approach, using evidence-based therapies to empower residents to build confidence and lead fulfilling lives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Join a dedicated team committed to residents' wellbeing and dignity.
  • Collaborate in the creation and oversight of individualised care plans, ensuring they align with residents’ goals and needs.
  • Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of person-centred care strategies.
  • Undertake daily support activities as directed, including:
    • Promoting residents’ small goals and progress through structured activities.
    • Facilitating participation in life skills and therapeutic programmes.
    • Enforcing safety and safeguarding protocols ensure a secure living environment.
  • Play an active role in facilitating daily routines, while respecting each person’s autonomy.
  • Consult and implement recommendations from psycho-social and therapeutic services where applicable.
