Job Title: Deputy Manager

Specialism: Children's Residential Homes

Location: Westbury

Contract: Full Time | Permanent

Salary: £46,064 to £52,852 OTE (including bonuses)

As a recruitment specialist working closely with one of the UK's leading providers in children's residential care, I am pleased to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a high performing, well supported service.

This is not just another leadership role. It is a position where your impact is visible every day in the progress, resilience and success of young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will play a key part in the day to day leadership of a children's home, supporting both the team and the young people within it. You will work alongside a strong Registered Manager, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and operational excellence are consistently maintained.

You will experience both the challenges and the rewards that come with residential childcare. The organisation places genuine value on the small but meaningful progress its young people make, recognising that these moments are often the foundation for lasting change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
