At Liaise, we are inspired by our values of Positive, Progressive, and Personal support and we are looking for a Deputy Manager who believes in our vision to ensure that every person we support leads a happy, purposeful life. We are looking for a proactive, dynamic Deputy Manager. You will work with extraordinary people who achieve fantastic successes.

Hours

  • 40 hours weekly
  • 8am-8pm
  • Every other weekend included

Role Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager within an adult social care setting
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
  • Good computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office and digital care systems
  • Experience completing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments
  • Understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards, and person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and support the day to day running of the service

Key Duties

  • Team leadership and management - to lead, direct and support a team.
  • Completing and regularly reviewing risk assessments and developing individual person-centred support plans.
  • Ensure all documentation and records completed by support workers are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Undertaking regular supervisions and spot checks of support workers.
  • Completing competency reviews.
  • Investigations into complaints and safeguarding issues and ensure actions are completed.
  • Conducting direct observations as required.
  • Providing person-centred support for all the people we support.
  • Maintaining up-to-date computerised and manual records.
  • Implementing quality control procedures and processes.
  • Requirement to participate in on-call rota.
