- Service: Abbeyvale Care Centre – A residential care setting supporting older adults with:
- Physical disabilities
- Dementia diagnosis
- Mental health needs
- Symptoms of old age

The Deputy Manager Role
A hands-on leadership position where your presence and guidance drive excellence:

Responsibilities
- Team Development & Mentoring:
- Coache and mentor staff to enhance skills and team cohesion.
- Service Delivery:
- Oversee smooth, safe, and high-standard care operations.
- Advocacy & Empowerment:
- Champion individual autonomy, ensuring each person’s preferences and aspirations are met.
- Policy & Compliance:
- Uphold corporate values, regulatory standards, and care policies.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is: ✔ Experienced in learning disabilities, mental health, or complex needs (substantive background required). ✔ Qualified with a Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in Health & Social Care (or relevant life experience). ✔ Proven leader – reliable, authoritative, and confident in instructional roles. ✔ A natural people-person with coaching and empathy strengths.
Most importantly – you care. Not just about tasks, but about the people you support. Deeply.
