The Brewers Inn is a sixteen-room, boutique hotel that strives to provide premium quality service, drink and food. We are looking for a Deputy Manager who doesn’t just want to manage shifts and tick boxes. We want someone with energy, personality, ideas, and ambition. Someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in, and help drive this business forward.

Requirements

  • Experience in a busy hospitality environment, ideally in a management role
  • A genuine passion for delivering brilliant guest experiences
  • Natural leadership and the ability to inspire a team
  • A proactive mindset—you spot opportunities and take action
  • A love for hospitality and a real desire to grow your career
  • Energy, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Play a huge role in the day-to-day running of the pub
  • Support the management team
  • Lead from the front
  • Help create the kind of atmosphere that keeps guests coming back
  • Develop our team—giving them the confidence, knowledge, and support they need to deliver memorable experiences every day
  • Challenge ideas, bring new ones, and help influence the future direction of the business—from guest experience and team culture to sports events, rooms, and food

We are a much-loved historic pub with 14 boutique rooms, a growing reputation as a go-to sports destination, and a food offering that’s evolving into something genuinely exciting.
