Deputy Manager (Children's Home)

Main Purpose of the Role

Key Objectives

To assist the Registered Manager in delivering an efficient, effective, and professional service aligned with North Star Children’s Homes’ values, policies, and procedures.

To foster and uphold a child-centred, inclusive culture, ensuring full compliance with:

  • Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
  • Quality Standards

  • Operational Management

    • Support the day-to-day running of the home
    • Advocate for and ensure the well-being, safety, and developmental progress of all children residing in the home
  • Staff Supervision & Care Quality

    • Oversee and support staff to deliver high-standard, trauma-informed care
    • Align all care practices with individual care plans

        • Families
        • Regulatory bodies (e.g., Ofsted)
