Deputy Store Manager – Camden

💼 Role Overview

Starting Salary: £29,750.00 (Includes London Weighting Allowance)

📍 Location: Camden 🕒 Job Type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) 🔹 Flexibility: Full coverage required from Monday to Sunday 💰 Potential for £2,400 discretionary bonus annually (pro-rated performance-based)


About The Role

As a Deputy Store Manager, you will:

  • Support the Store Manager in leading a motivated, well-trained team.
  • Ensure personalised, exceptional service for all customers while aligning with store goals.
  • Maintain financial targets, regulatory compliance, and company standards.
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment where every colleague feels valued.
  • There is no prior pawnbroking experience required—comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate colleagues to achieve store KPIs and deliver outstanding service.
  • Train and develop a multi-skilled team to handle diverse customer needs effectively.
  • Foster a welcoming, professional, and safe in-store environment.
  • Promote best practices, security protocols, and adherence to company policies.
  • Drive team performance towards financial targets.
  • Collaborate with the wider area team, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Assist in implementing new products, policies, and procedures for smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • A passion for high standards and delivering exceptional experiences for customers and teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in:
    • Financial services
    • Customer-facing roles
  • A customer-first mindset with proactive initiative.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus—our diverse customer base benefits from additional languages.
