Deputy Manager - Lead. Inspire. Make a Difference.
This Isn't Just Another Deputy Manager Role.
Some people look for an easy service. We're looking for someone who wants to build an exceptional one.
At WCL we're investing in people, leadership, and quality because we believe the people we support deserve nothing less. Our service supports individuals with highly complex needs, including behaviours of distress, autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. Every day is different, every person is unique, and every decision you make has the potential to change someone's life.
If you're someone who thrives on challenge, believes in person-centred care and wants to be part of a leadership team that's driving real change, we'd love to hear from you.
What makes us different?
We're not standing still.
We've recently strengthened our leadership structure, invested in bespoke leadership development for our managers.
We believe in empowering our leaders - not simply asking them to manage.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
