RDC Deputy Manager
Location: Leicester – LE8-6NU
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 Hours
Salary: £33,345 per annum
Shift: 5am start.

Regional Distribution Centre Deputy Manager
This is an outstanding opportunity to join Lyreco, one of the largest workplace solutions companies in the world. As a result of growth, we are seeking a Regional Distribution Centre Deputy Manager for our regional distribution Centre in Leeds.
As the Regional Distribution Centre Deputy Manager, you will provide relief cover for holiday, sickness, and training at an RDC ensuring a reliable customer delivery service.
Responsibilities
- To ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, are roadworthy and operate within legal requirements e.g., payload, tachograph, etc.
- Establish and maintain personnel files for all RDC staff and ensure records and information is kept up to date.
- Motivate staff and hold regular monthly meetings with all staff and produce minutes of these meetings.
- Ensure drivers are instructed on all aspects of the operation and vehicles including procedures, quality, and security.
- There will be a requirement to cover the delivery routes for staff holidays and absence as well as ad hoc volume drops.

Ideal Candidate
- Hold a current full C1 driving license with no more than 6 minor offence penalty points.
- Working knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations in relation to the working time directive.
- Be organized and flexible in approach to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Smart personal appearance is essential.
- Have knowledge of tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations.
- You will be required to complete a CRB check.
- This job role requires regular contact with the company’s customer base. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Team orientated.
- Basic PC skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, etc.
