Deputy Manager (Non-Clinical)
Based in Banchory, will run Raemoir Manor Care Home upon opening in Summer 2026—a purpose-built residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care home.
Salary: £16.50 per hour Hours: 44 per week (combination of supernumerary & on-the-floor shifts), every second weekend covered Benefits:

Role Overview
As Deputy Manager, you’ll be a key operational leader, working alongside the Home Manager to ensure:
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, organising, and driving day-to-day performance of the care home according to high standards of safety, compliance, and quality service.
- Overseeing care delivery, staff performance, and daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and relatively complaint running of the service.
- Supporting Care Concerns Group’s quality audits, monitoring service standards, and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Providing visible, supportive leadership, mentoring, and helping staff thrive to foster a positive and accountable culture.
- Confidently covering the Home Manager when needed, ensuring business continuity and effective decision-making.

What We Are Looking For
This role is ideally suited for candidates with:
- SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification in progress)
- Proven experience in a senior care or leadership role
- Strong leadership & team management skills
- Hands-on experience with Care Standards Auditing, compliance, and process improvement
- Ability to administer and audit medication
- Excellent ability to manage operations, priorities, and team performance
- A professional, organised, and resident-focused approach
