Deputy Manager – 4-Bed Children’s Home (Coventry)
About the Role
HRS Healthcare are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a 4-bed Children’s Home in Coventry.
The role involves working closely with the Home Manager across all facets of home operations, ensuring compliance, safeguarding, and high standards of care align with our values.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in:
- Compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance
- Financial planning and maintenance of standards
- Lead and supervise staff, including:
- Professional development, appraisals, and training
- Team motivation and support
- Cover for the Registered Manager when absent
- Create and maintain a safe, homely, and nurturing environment
- Oversee health and safety, risk assessments, and staff training
- Collaborate with professionals and contribute to care planning

Requirements
About You
- Qualification:
- Level 3 in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce
- Experience:
- At least 1 year as a Senior Residential Care Worker in a Children’s Home
- Work Pattern:
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Qualifications & Compliance:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
