Deputy Nursery Manager – Weston Village (Thrive Childcare & Education)
Location: Thrive Weston Village Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Salary: £15.25/Hour Annual Salary Equivalent: £31,805.40
About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an inspiring Deputy Manager to join our exceptional team at Thrive Childcare & Education! This role is perfect for those passionate about early years development and ready to take their next step in leadership. You’ll be central to delivering outstanding childcare and overseeing daily operations to ensure the highest standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Work collaboratively with the Nursery Manager and centralized departments ✔ Supervise staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and maintain high standards in childcare ✔ Create and support a nurturing, safe, and inspiring learning environment ✔ Lead daily operations within the nursery, promoting routine consistency and smooth functionality ✔ Develop and uphold health, safety and quality assurance (Ofsted) regulations ✔ Communicate effectively with parents/carers to maintain trust and transparency ✔ Administer paperwork, schedules, and reporting within compliance guidelines ✔ Foster teamwork, morale, and a culture of continuous professional development among staff ✔ Support the broader early-years strategy while sustaining nursery excellence

Essential Requirements
✅ Holding a Level 3 qualification (or above) aligned with UK Government Early Years regulations ✅ Previous leadership experience in childcare or early-years settings (perfect for those aiming for management transition) ✅ Clinical knowledge of early-years development policies and an understanding of the UK EYFS framework ✅ Demonstratable commitment to safety & well-being ✅ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy environment
