Deputy Nursery Manager Opportunity | Exciting New Early Years Setting

Hays Education is delighted to be supporting an innovative and well-established early years provider with the recruitment of a Nursery Deputy Manager for their brand-new nursery setting in Brentwood.

This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that takes a truly child-centred approach to learning, combining high-quality Early Years education with rich enrichment opportunities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Unlike many traditional nursery environments, this setting places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, exploration, and creativity. Children are encouraged to develop through a broad and engaging curriculum that extends far beyond the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. The organisation is passionate about providing meaningful experiences that support the development of the whole child and believes that some of the most valuable learning takes place outside the classroom.

The successful candidate will be joining a provider that prides itself on offering an exceptional enrichment programme, including:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
