Deputy Nursery Manager (Heron Park Primary Academy)

Deputy Nursery Manager – Permanent, Term-Time Only (37.5 hours/week)


Role Overview

Heron Park Primary Academy is seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their dedicated Early Years Team. This full-time, term-time only role (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) involves supporting the daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 2–4.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Play a pivotal role in maintaining quality early years provision
  • Support the nursery manager in ** pneering child-led learning experiences**
  • Work collaboratively with staff to plan, deliver and review curricula
  • Maintain a positive relationship with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Uphold the safeguarding policies of the school and academy trust

Requirements

To apply, you must:

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Have proven experience working in an early years setting
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning activities
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and teamwork
