Deputy Nursery Manager – Help Launch Our Brand-New Hornsey Nursery! (OTE up to £41,915)
Bright Little Stars – Hornsey, London N8 | Full Time, 40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri, 50 weeks/year | Base £38,105 + up to 10% bonus (OTE up to £41,915) | Start: September 2026
Be part of something brand new
Bright Little Stars is opening its 7th nursery in Hornsey in November 2026 – a brand-new 66-place setting – and we’re looking for an exceptional Deputy Nursery Manager to help lead it from day one.
Since 2013 we’ve grown from one nursery to six outstanding settings, built on a simple but powerful philosophy: a child-centred environment, a warm family-like community, and the belief that every child can reach their full potential when surrounded by truth, love and compassion. It’s an approach our own team celebrates in our Indeed and Glassdoor reviews, and it’s a big part of why we’re considered one of London’s leading nursery groups.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a key leadership role where your ideas, passion and experience will help shape a new nursery, inspire a new team and make a lasting impact on children and families in the Hornsey community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
