Deputy Nursery Manager

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Location: Muddy Boots Drighlington, Leeds

Salary: Up to £15.10 per hour (within the top 10% of nurseries in the area)

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to work as part of the leadership team at Muddy Boots in Drighlington. If you have the qualifications and experience to fill this role - we would love to hear from you!

About The Role

Role Overview:

As a Deputy Manager at Muddy Boots, you will be an integral part of our management team, responsible for delivering high-quality, nature-based learning experiences. We believe that outdoor adventures are at the heart of childhood development, and we are committed to fostering a fun, supportive, and enriching environment for both children and staff.

Support staff to plan and deliver engaging learning activities, with a focus on outdoor play and exploration

Observe, assess, and support children’s individual learning journeys

Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members

Ensure a safe, inspiring, and stimulating environment for all children

Contribute to a happy, healthy, and thriving team that loves what they do!

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Passion for outdoor education and a commitment to nature-based learning

✔️ Experience in early years education (Level 3 qualified a minimum)

✔️ A proactive and positive attitude with great teamwork skills

✔️ Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
