Who we are
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is an organisation dedicated to honouring and caring for the graves and memorials of service members who died in the two World Wars. The work of the commission is not only out on the field, but in our head office too, which contributes to the meaningful commemoration of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead day-to-day workforce performance, capability and conduct across the region - ensuring employees and volunteers are clear on expectations, well supported, and delivering against our operational priorities.
You’ll build strong relationships across a dispersed team and turn regional direction into clear, practical action. This includes deploying people and resources effectively to meet commemoration and horticulture standards, and making sure volunteers are fully and safely integrated into day-to-day operations.
You’ll play a key role in creating a consistent, high-performing environment - where people understand what good looks like and feel supported to deliver it.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
