Deputy Retirement Communities Manager
Location: Spey House, Criterion Street, Reddish, Stockport, Cheshire, SK5 6TD Salary: £13,640 - £14,361 per year (c.18.75 hours per week)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of housing services, with a focus on compliance and safety standards
- Build and maintain ** Positive relationships** with residents, colleagues, volunteers, and the local community
- Assist with tenancy management and help clarify residents’ rights and responsibilities
- Support the Retirement Communities Manager in managing and marketing voids (unoccupied homes)
- Promote social activities and encourage the use of communal spaces
- Maintain accurate records and systems to deliver effective service

Person Specification
- Passion for building welcoming communities for older people
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Experience in leading, motivating, and supporting staff and volunteers
- Previous experience in housing, care, or a customer-focused environment is advantageous
- Confident using IT systems
