Deputy Safeguarding Lead – 37 hours per week 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm Friday. £33,500.89 FTE fixed term to end of December 2026 (with potential to be extended)

Are you passionate about safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of young people? Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Safeguarding Lead, based at their Weybridge campus.
About the role:
In this vital role, as Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, happiness, and academic success of their students. Your role will also include:
Implement and monitor effective safeguarding policies and procedures Provide support and guidance to students experiencing difficulties, including those with SEN Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Deliver training and awareness-raising sessions on safeguarding and wellbeing Develop and implement action plans to address identified risks.

To fulfil the role of Deputy Safeguarding Lead you will have:
Experience in a safeguarding or related role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding legislation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passionate about supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing
