About the Role
💶 Salary: £38,000 – £46,000 per annum 📅 Holiday entitlement: 30-35 days (pro rata) 🛍️ Discount: 10% in-store discount 💰 Pension plan

As a Deputy Store Manager, you’ll be calm, effective, and hands-on, whether on the shop floor or behind the scenes. You’ll manage cash processes, ensure stock integrity, and inspire your team—creating an environment where everyone excels.
You’ll also take accountability when the Store Manager is absent, owning the store’s operations and leading by example to support your colleagues.

Responsibilities
- Set an outstanding example for the Store Team and customers
- ** Independently manage the store operations** in the absence of the Store Manager
- Motivate and develop your team, aligning with Lidl’s Company Values
- Check and oversee deliveries, manage till operations, and monitor KPIs
- Provide friendly, exceptional customer service and assist with queries
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety laws, standards, and guidelines
Requirements
- Experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Strong communication skills to build trust and assist colleagues and customers
- Proven ability in time management, delegation, and problem-solving
- Confidence to support your team throughout all shifts
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Competency in monitoring, managing, and improving KPIs
