Deputy Store Manager (Lidl)
Summary
- Salary: £38,000 – £46,000 per annum
- Holidays: 30–35 days (pro rata)
- Discount: 10% in-store discount

As a Deputy Store Manager, you’ll be a calm, capable leader who gets involved both on the shop floor and behind the scenes. Whether managing cash processes, ensuring stock integrity, or inspiring your team, you’ll play a critical role in creating an environment where everyone thrives.
When the Store Manager is absent, you’ll take ownership, leading by example to support your colleagues and drive the store forward.

What You’ll Do
- Set a spectacular example for your team and customers
- Independently manage the store when the Store Manager is unavailable
- Motivate and support your team, aligning with Company Values
- Check and manage deliveries, oversee the till area, and monitor KPIs diligently
- Be the friendly face for every customer, providing excellent service and resolving queries
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety laws and standards
What You’ll Need
- Experience in leading and developing a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Excellent communication skills to mentor colleagues and engage with customers warmth and clarity
- Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving abilities
- The confidence to support your team through every shift
- A pride in delivering world-class customer service to every shopper
- The ability to monitor, manage, and improve KPIs
