As a Deputy Store Manager, you’ll take the helm when needed, balancing a hands-on approach with strong leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Set a fantastic example as a role model for the team and customers
- Independently manage the store while the Store Manager is absent
- Lead and develop your team, embodying Lidl’s Company Values
- Oversee operations including delivery checks, till management, and KPI monitoring
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting with queries and inquiries
- Comply diligently with all Health & Safety laws, standards, and guidelines
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience—managing and developing teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills to inspire, train, and support colleagues and customers
- Tefect management, delegation and problem-solving—balancing efficiency with practical decision-making
- Confidence to step up and support your team through every shift, fostering a positive culture
- Pride in excellence—driving world-class service for every customer
- Monitoring and improving KPIs, demonstrating data-driven leadership
