Operating a nationwide network of successful stores, they've built their reputation on delivering outstanding value, operational excellence and exceptional customer service. Their continued growth means they're investing heavily in leadership talent and are now looking to appoint several Deputy Store Managers across the West Midlands.
Unlike many retail management positions, this isn't simply about supporting the Store Manager. It's a genuine development role, designed to prepare ambitious leaders for their next step into Store Management.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll help lead, coach and develop a large store team while ensuring the operation runs efficiently every day. You'll spend the majority of your time on the shop floor, leading from the front, supporting colleagues and ensuring customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
