About the Role

Everyone at Lidl brings their own distinct contribution—but there’s one thing we all have in common. We’re resilient, confident, and trusted leaders.

As a Deputy Store Manager, you’ll be cool, calm, and collected, rolling up your sleeves on the shop floor while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll drive the store to excel during the leader’s absence—leading by example, fostering teamwork, and ensuring both colleagues and customers receive the best possible service.

Why it matters: You’re a keystone role. When you step up, the whole team lifts their performance.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package built to support your well-being and personal growth. From career progression opportunities to policies that honour your work-life balance, your success is our priority.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
