Summary
- Salary: £38,000 – £46,000 per annum
- Holiday: 30–35 days (pro rata)

What You’ll Do
You’ll set the standard for excellence in these key areas:
- Lead by example for both our store team and customers
- Independently manage the store when the Store Manager is absent
- Motivate and develop your team, guided by Lidl’s core company values
- Oversee deliveries, customer service at the till, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Be the friendly, professional face of Lidl, assisting all customers with exceptional service
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and guidelines
What You’ll Need
This role is ideal if you have experience and confidence in:
- Leading and developing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Clear, open communication—balancing friendliness with professionalism when supporting colleagues and customers
- Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
- The emotional resilience to encourage and motivate your team across all shifts and scenarios
- A passionate commitment to delivering world-class customer service to every shopper
- The ability to monitor, analyse, and drive improvements in KPIs
