Summary

  • Salary: £38,000 – £46,000 per annum
  • Holiday: 30–35 days (pro rata)
  • Benefits: 10% in-store discount + pension scheme

What You’ll Do

You’ll set the standard for excellence in these key areas:

  • Lead by example for both our store team and customers
  • Independently manage the store when the Store Manager is absent
  • Motivate and develop your team, guided by Lidl’s core company values
  • Oversee deliveries, customer service at the till, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Be the friendly, professional face of Lidl, assisting all customers with exceptional service
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and guidelines

What You’ll Need

This role is ideal if you have experience and confidence in:

  • Leading and developing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Clear, open communication—balancing friendliness with professionalism when supporting colleagues and customers
  • Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
  • The emotional resilience to encourage and motivate your team across all shifts and scenarios
  • A passionate commitment to delivering world-class customer service to every shopper
  • The ability to monitor, analyse, and drive improvements in KPIs
