Are you a registered nurse with vision, drive and enthusiasm? Morfa Ward, Ysbyty Alltwen has an exciting opportunity to join our team. Morfa Ward is an 20 bedded ward which provides dynamic, proactive care and rehabilitation closer to patients home with a commitment to making a difference for our patients.
We currently have a part-time secondment vacancy within our team, and are seeking a highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic person.
We believe in developmental and training opportunities for our staff and therefore are currently seeking to recruit a passionate registered nurse with a vision for change and a focus on providing high standards of care closer to patients home.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of evidence-based clinical care is provided and continuously monitored, also ensuring a positive learning environment. You would also be expected to oversee the work of healthcare support workers and registered nurses working on the ward.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent clinical skills in relation to all aspects of care, together with a caring attitude and good interpersonal skills with patients their relatives and all members of the multidisciplinary team.
All applicants are expected to keep up to date with new initiatives and interventions within nursing care and ensure that their mandatory training is maintained above the required 85% at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
