Job Description – Registered Nurse (Part-Time Secondment) – Morfa Ward, Ysbyty Alltwen

This post is fixed term/secondment until 30.09.2026 due to secondment cover.

About the Role:
Are you a registered nurse with vision, drive, and enthusiasm? Morfa Ward at Ysbyty Alltwen invites continuing employees of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to apply for a part-time secondment opportunity within our 20-bedded community rehabilitation ward.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will contribute to:
- Ensuring high standards of evidence-based clinical care are provided and continuously monitored.
- Overseeing Healthcare Support Workers and Registered Nurses on the ward.
- Maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
✔ Exceptional clinical skills across all care domains. ✔ A caring and compassionate attitude, especially with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team. ✔ Commitment to ongoing professional development, including:
- Keeping up with new healthcare initiatives and interventions.
- Maintaining mandatory training compliance (above 85%).
Desirable:
✔ Proficiency in speaking Welsh, though English speakers are equally welcome.
