Deputy Ward Manager – Surgical Ward

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join our busy 16-beded Surgical ward, caring for both NHS and Private patients.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and enthusiastic person to join our multi-disciplinary team and provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership and positive influencing abilities are core to this position – you must demonstrate significant Band 5 experience or equivalent leadership qualities, including:

  • A proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach
  • Passion for excellence in patient care

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have:

  • Band 5 nursing experience or previous Band 6 experience in the surgical field
  • Leadership or advanced clinical experience with strong potential to grow into a ward management role
