The Derivative Reporting Accountant
The Derivative Reporting Accountant reports directly to the Derivative Controller. The role will support the reporting of all derivative positions (retail and generation power contracts, and wholesale trades) in monthly management accounts, quarterly reports to the shareholder, and in our year-end statutory and group reporting.
Working under the guidance of the Derivative Controller, the role will assist with reporting activities and contribute to ongoing objectives related to derivative accounting and reporting, developing specialist knowledge in this area over time.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Supporting the accurate and timely preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet positions.
- Building working relationships with the following business-critical teams: Risk, Trading, Renewable Certificates Trading, Sales and Optimisation, and Pricing.
- Opportunities to work cross-functionally with the Trading Business Partner within the Commercial Finance Team.
