Dermatologist

Cumbria and Lancashire

Full-time or part-time roles available

About the Role

We are seeking a committed Dermatologist to participate in our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire to will undertake dermatological diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as autonomous prescribing for patients in a community clinic.

    • Lytham Primary Care Centre Victoria Street Lytham St Annes FY8 5DZ
    • Glenroyd Medical Practice Moor Park Health & Leisure Centre Bristol Avenue Bispham Blackpool FY2 0JG
    • Garstang Medical Practice Kepple Lane Garstang PR3 1PB

Key Duties

  • Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for both acute and chronic dermatological conditions.
  • Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines.
  • Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership.
  • Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including consideration of lifestyle impacts.
  • Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish appropriate care pathways.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
