Design and Build Project Manager (Midlands Based)

Project Manager – Retail & Commercial Fit-Outs (UK-wide)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our expanding team, specialising in delivering high-quality retail and commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects nationwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing projects from conceptual brief through to successful completion. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to highest-quality standards.

While many of our projects are retail-focused, our portfolio extends across diverse commercial environments, offering rich variety to broaden your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of retail and commercial fit-out/refurbishment projects, from pre-construction through handover
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction across all project stages
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, coordinating resources and activities to meet time and budget constraints
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate issues and safeguard project profitability
  • Conduct regular site visits, progress reviews, and client meetings, providing transparent updates and aligning delivery with project goals
  • Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations, company procedures, and all rgulatory requirements
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, procurement, and change control processes
  • Direct final snagging and handover procedures, verifying fulfillment of all contractual and client deliverables
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimise project delivery, client experience, and operational performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
