I am currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a purpose-led organisation at the heart of a fast-evolving and innovative sector. We’re looking for a talented Design & Graphic Lead to take ownership of creative output and bring campaigns to life through high-impact visual storytelling.
This is a key role within the marketing and communications team, responsible for leading the end-to-end creative process—from concept through to delivery—across a wide range of channels. You’ll shape how the organisation shows up visually, ensuring all creative work is engaging, on-brand, and aligned to strategic objectives.
Working closely with marketing and wider engagement teams, you’ll translate insight and campaign strategy into compelling design that drives audience engagement and supports meaningful behaviour change.
What you’ll be doing: Lead the creation of high-quality design assets across digital and print, including web, social, campaigns and brand materials Own the end-to-end creative process, from concept development through to delivery Ensure consistency and excellence in brand identity, visual storytelling and user experience Collaborate with marketing teams to support integrated campaigns and content delivery Design and optimise website and digital assets, with an understanding of UX and performance impact Manage multiple creative projects, ensuring delivery to brief, on time and within budget Commission and manage external suppliers, including agencies, designers and production partners Use data and performance insights to inform and improve creative output

What we’re looking for: Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across branding, digital, print and campaigns Experience working across the full creative lifecycle, from ideation to execution Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma/Sketch Understanding of web design, UX principles and digital performance considerations Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality, impactful design

Desirable: Experience with motion design, video editing or animation Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital content publishing Understanding of analytics and performance metrics in a digital context
You’ll be a creative thinker with a hands-on approach—someone who can combine ideas, execution and insight to deliver standout work that makes a measurable impact. The role will be based 2/3 days a week from their offices near York.
