Are you a passionate and innovative Design & Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through practical learning, creative problem-solving, and hands-on design projects, helping them develop skills that will support them both academically and beyond the classroom.
The Role
As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop creativity, technical knowledge, and practical skills.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Design & Technology department.
- Support students in achieving their full academic and personal potential.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical learning.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to raising standards and delivering outstanding outcomes for students.
- Works collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
