We are recruiting for a Design Coordinator to join a leading engineering and construction contractor delivering major energy infrastructure projects across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Design Managers, supporting projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover while developing your career within a fast-growing sector.
The Role
You'll coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, ensuring design information is delivered accurately and on schedule. Working closely with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams, you'll help maintain design programmes, manage technical documentation and support the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track multidisciplinary design deliverables.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries and design documentation.
- Support consultant, supplier and subcontractor design coordination.
- Maintain design trackers, action registers and project documentation.
- Assist procurement, construction and commissioning teams with design information.
- Support project handover and as-built documentation.
About You
- Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, BIM or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years' experience in a Design Coordinator, Engineering Coordinator, BIM Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience within energy, infrastructure, utilities or major construction projects.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Navisworks or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Motivated to develop into a future Design Manager.
