Design Manager – Mission Critical / Data Centre Fit-Out

Location: Remote (UK Based)

About Filmtek Data Solutions

Filmtek Data Solutions is a specialist contractor delivering mission-critical fit-out, technical services and infrastructure solutions across the data centre sector. Our expertise spans white space fit-outs, MEP & commissioning support, logistics, technical cleaning and critical environment services, helping clients bridge the gap between construction and live operations.

The Role

As Design Manager, you'll take ownership of the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery, ensuring all technical information is coordinated, buildable and aligned with programme requirements.

Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project delivery teams, you'll drive design coordination across CSA, MEP and white space packages, ensuring projects move seamlessly from concept through construction and commissioning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in data centres or mission-critical environments who enjoys solving technical challenges and influencing project delivery from the earliest stages.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
