Job Title: Design Manager – Solar PV
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (£50,000 - £70,000)
Location: Leicestershire (Onsite)

What you’ll do
- Oversee the entire design lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects, coordinating detailed layouts, string-level schematics and shading analyses.
- Using Revit and IFC workflows, produce and peer-review single-line diagrams, equipment schedules and yield assessments, ensuring compliance with grid codes and industry regulations is built in from the start.
- Define and maintain the group’s design manual, lead technical value-engineering workshops, and act as the go-to authority for design queries raised by project delivery teams, clients or subcontractors.

About you
- Seasoned solar PV designer with strong Revit and IFC experience.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects without losing technical precision.
- Knowledgeable about the latest regulations and a track record of enforcing standards to prevent rework on site.
- Excellent communicator, liaising between design, operations, and clients to resolve queries and optimize layouts.
- Collaborative mindset and confidence in mentoring junior designers.
