Design Delivery Lead / Design Programme Manager 6-Month Contract Mostly Remote (1 Day/Week in London) £400/Day Outside Start: ASAP
A global cybersecurity business—protecting hundreds of millions of people online—is seeking a Design Delivery contractor to refine and strengthen how design work is scoped, prioritised, and delivered.
About the Client
A trusted name in consumer digital safety, operating at enterprise scale across a diverse product portfolio. The design team is refining its approaches:
- The foundational standards and structures are established.
- Adoption of these processes remains inconsistent, and enforcement needs tightening.
About the Opportunity
This role is not about redrawing the blueprint for end-to-end delivery practices. Instead, it’s about:
- Embedding closely within the design team to push adoption of existing models.
- Ensuring delivery remains realistic, transparent, and efficient through structured oversight.
- Guiding the team through a phase of evolving norms—collaborating with senior leadership on improvements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Strengthen delivery planning and stakeholder communication to streamline the workflow.
- Apply rigour to feedback loops and refinement cycles, distinguishing between valuable iteration and dilution.

Your Profile
We’re looking for a Design Ops / Design Delivery / Design Producer—not a traditional programme manager.
Key requirements:
- Deep understanding of the product delivery lifecycle.
- Experience supporting design teams over directly managing technical projects.
- Strong skills in scoping development work and fostering discipline—able to examine briefs, feedback loops, and unrealistic deadlines with an objective eye.
- Agency backgrounds are a strong plus; equivalent in-house experience counts if the culture aligns with a lean, delivery-critical mindset.
