We're looking for a highly organised Design Technician to play a key role in supporting our engineering team and maintaining the backbone of our design systems. This is an opportunity to become the guardian of our CAD libraries, product data and engineering documentation while contributing to the development of new products and design improvements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing our Autodesk Vault library and standard parts database
  • Maintaining revision control and ERP part numbering systems
  • Creating and updating 3D models, drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Producing manufacturing issue packs, installation drawing packs and project dossiers
  • Supporting design engineers by taking ownership of information management activities
  • Contributing to new product development and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A process-driven approach to engineering documentation and data management
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (EFACS experience advantageous)
  • Someone who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and efficiency to engineering projects
