Design & Technology Teacher (DT) – Full-Time, Permanent (September 2026 Start)
About the Role
A high-achieving "Outstanding" secondary school in South West London is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology (DT) Teacher. This is a full-time, permanent role, with opportunities for experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspire & Motivate: Fuel passion for Design & Technology in students through engaging, innovative teaching.
- Collaborative Learning: Work closely with a team of outstanding Art teachers under a supportive leadership structure.
- Leadership & Mentorship:
- Experienced DT Teachers: Take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibility.
- Early Career Teachers (NQT/ECT): Benefit from a 1:1 mentor, a bespoke ECT induction programme, and targeted training (both in-house and external).
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to progressive, creative design projects leveraging the school’s modern facilities.
- Pastoral Engagement: Benefit from a school culture where incidences of poor behaviour are rare, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Role Essentials
✅ Qualifications & Experience
- Hold or be in the process of gaining UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Must demonstrate strong academic credentials (Degree, A-Levels, GCSEs).
- Continuously meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ level.
- Experience (or potential) to work effectively in a collaborative DT team.
- Open to feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Competitive Salary Package:
- £31,180 - £41,333 (MPS1 – UPS3 range), plus TLR allowance (depending on experience & role).
