Design & Technology Technician With SEN Responsibilities
Grade 4 (point 12 -16), 15 hours per week, permanent, term time
Required 1 September 2026
We are looking to recruit a dedicated and ambitious Design & Technology Technician to join our team to be part of a school that is making rapid progress. Someone who wants to inspire, is enthusiastic, has the ability to motivate students and has a desire to develop a career within a highly successful Multi Academy Trust.
The Design & Technology Technician, under the direction of the Faculty Director of Art, Design and Technology will be responsible for providing general technical support to the ADT Faculty at Great Wyrley Academy as well as providing directed support for SEN students within the Faculty. This is in line with the vision and values of Windsor Academy Trust supporting teaching and learning in Technology.

Applicants must possess:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a related area
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Can use a range of workshop tools and secondary machine processes.
- Can use a range of CAD/CAM processes. For example, laser cutting or 3D pr
- To have or be willing to obtain the Health and Safety training standards for Design and Technology Technician certification.
