Designer – HVAC Products & Systems
Job Title: 2x Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC Products
Office Based: West Yorkshire
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000
Benefits: Health and life benefits, on-site gym, company pension and strong benefits package
About the Role
The role of the Designer – HVAC Products will involve:
- Designer role working on bespoke ventilation, acoustic and cooling systems for the Data Centre market
- Produce 3D models and technical drawings for customer approval using Autodesk Inventor and Vault software
- Work closely with Engineering, Projects and Operations teams to ensure designs meet budget and production requirements
- Attend meetings and provide design input to improve efficiency and material usage
- Amend drawings where required and highlight any design changes that may impact costs
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, high-quality and completed within project deadlines
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve technical queries throughout the project lifecycle

Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be a Designer – HVAC Products with:

- Must have Design experience with Autodesk Inventor or Vault Software
- Must have experience within the HVAC market sector, may be open to a candidate from a related mechanical or engineering design background
- Highly advantageous to have experience working with cooling products supplied into Data Centres or related sectors
- Preferable to have a related degree (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- Motivated individual who can work autonomously
- People person with strong time management and organisation skills
