Designer 🎨 | Narwhal Labs | Bristol, UK (must be able to commit to 3 days per week in the office) | £40,000 + DOE
Narwhal Labs builds DeepBlue OS — autonomous revenue infrastructure that helps businesses answer every call, follow up every lead, and log every interaction across Voice, SMS, Email and WhatsApp. We're an NVIDIA Inception member and Google Partner, growing fast.
We're not looking for a portfolio-polisher. We're looking for a designer who owns problems end-to-end — someone who can take a loosely defined challenge, work out the goals and constraints themselves, and turn it into clear, reasoned design across product, UX/UI, brand and internal systems.
What you'll actually do:
- Shape user flows, interaction models and interface patterns across our product and internal tools
- Anticipate edge cases and failure states before they become real problems
- Work closely with engineering so what you design is grounded in real constraints
- Use AI as a core part of your workflow — for exploration, iteration and production — while keeping the judgement calls human

What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of design experience, comfortable without perfect requirements
- Strong UX/UI judgement grounded in flows and system behaviour, not just screens
- Clear communicator who can explain the trade-offs behind a decision
- A track record of using AI tools to genuinely speed up design work
