Mid Market Business Development Role – Sky Business

Role/Team overview

Join our Sky Business Mid Market team as we deliver bespoke solutions using our UK-wide network and trusted partner ecosystem. Backed by our parent company, Comcast Business, we’re focused on meeting customer needs—today and in the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage high-value business opportunities through tailored research in industries, sectors, and markets.
  • Driving Pace & Accountability: Thriving in a fast-moving environment with the ability to multitask, qualify leads, and close deals quickly. Monthly forecasting and revenue commitments are critical to success.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to hit targets, close deals, and contribute to sales targets.
  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Craft and present compelling proposals and contracts that align with client objectives and company goals.
  • Performance Reporting: Track and report on key metrics, including prospect activity, sales cycles, and outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Essential criteria:

-Proven track record of high-volume new business telecoms sales and deals in mid-market businesses -Deep experience in B2B telecommunications sales -Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting -A results-driven mindset with a focus on success -Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools
