We are currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineer to join a leading global banking client in London.
π Location: London (5 days onsite)

Contract: 6 months (high likelihood of extension)
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and has excellent communication skills. This is a front-facing support role where you'll be working with senior business users, so professionalism, confidence, and strong customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- On-site desktop and deskside support
- Incident and service request management (ServiceNow/ITSM)
- Windows laptop/desktop installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 & Teams support
- Hardware, software, network, VPN, and peripheral support
- User onboarding and device provisioning
- Support for VDI/Citrix environments (desirable)
- Work within ITIL processes and SLA-driven environments
What we're looking for:
- 4β8 years' Desktop Support or End-User Support experience
- Strong Windows OS and hardware troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Active Directory, VPN, and networking fundamentals
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool experience
- Excellent verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and take ownership of issues
