Brief Description
Desktop Support Engineer - London Gatwick Airport
£30,000 per annum - An initial contract of 30 months with the possibility of renewal
Join our team as an IT Support Engineer and support enterprise IT operations with hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to develop your IT career.

Working on-site in London Gatwick Airport, rotational shifts 5 days on, 2 days off 7am – 19pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Perform some Smart Hands support for networking hardware.
- Troubleshoot within Windows / iOS / Android OS support, software installations, and security updates.
- Manage Active Directory tasks.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Requirements
What will you bring to ESP?
- 3 years+ experience in IT infrastructure support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues. As a Level 1 engineer, you will resolve issues while adhering to hardware warranty and customer security compliance standards
- Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Good command of Windows O/S
- Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting experience
- Wireless networking knowledge
- Understanding of network protocols, server hardware, and configurations
- Experience with Active Directory
- Advantage: Basic knowledge of LAN-WAN setups and concepts
