Desktop Liability Adjuster

Job Location: UK wide

Job Type: Permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Desktop Liability Adjuster anywhere in the UK

We are looking for dedicated Desktop Liability Adjusters to join our team. You will manage Public Liability third party property damage claims with flexible full time working arrangements, including hybrid options.

This technical role involves investigating policy and legal liability, settling claims for our Insurer Clients and handling third party public liability property damage claims independently and under referral.

You will investigate allegations against policyholders, provide detailed advice on liability, collate relevant information, identify fraud risks, maintain proactive contact with all parties, manage litigation where appropriate, and ensure accurate maintenance of databases and correspondence.

The Skills You Will Have When You Apply

Demonstrable experience of handling Public Liability Third Party damage claims and knowledge of current case law, common law/statutes, and regulations. Excellent communication skills: You will interact with policyholders, insurers, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements for all parties involved. Commitment to professional development: A dedication to working towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification is optional.
