Key Responsibilities

  • Modern Workplace & Endpoint Management (DSS)
    • Device Lifecycle & Provisioning: Deploy, provision, and enroll Windows 10/11 devices using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune.
    • Perform IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) activities and asset management.
    • Unified Endpoint Management: Deploy OS images, applications, configurations, and security patches using SCCM/MECM and Intune.
    • Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2 onsite and remote support for Windows OS, Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), and custom enterprise applications.
    • Identity & Security: Support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user accounts, access permissions, BitLocker encryption, and Microsoft Defender endpoint security.
    • Peripherals & Mobility: Support enterprise printers, mobile devices, local peripherals, and remote connectivity/VPN clients.

Network & Data Center Infrastructure

  • Routing & Switching: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 environments including Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Aruba, and Juniper platforms. Implement VLANs, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel/LACP, and trunking.
  • Network Protocols: Configure and optimize static routing, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRRP/HSRP, and policy-based routing. Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and QoS.
  • Wireless & Security: Support enterprise wireless LANs, controllers (WLC), and access points.
  • Configure network security via ACLs, firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet), and VPNs (IPSec/SSL).
  • Data Center Operations: Support Data Center technologies including Cisco Nexus (3K/5K/7K/9K), vPC, VXLAN EVPN (basic), ACI awareness, virtualization networking (VMware vSphere), and physical rack/stack/cabling.
  • Circuit & Vendor Management: Work directly with ISPs and external telecom vendors to isolate and troubleshoot circuit issues.

Operations, Monitoring & Documentation

  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor network and endpoint health using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, and NetFlow.
  • Maintenance: Perform firmware upgrades, configurations backups, and scheduled change implementations.
  • ITIL Processes: Actively participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management workflows using ServiceNow.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical knowledge base articles.

An ideal candidate will possess a mix of endpoint and networking certifications, such as:

  • Networking: Cisco CCNA / CCNP Enterprise, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, or Aruba ACSP.
  • Endpoint/Security: Microsoft MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator), Fortinet NSE, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Foundational: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+ / Network+.
