We're working with a growing Hedgefund looking to add a Desktop Support Engineer to their growing technical team.
You'll provide first-class desktop and end-user support, taking ownership of incidents from initial triage through to resolution. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll ensure users receive a responsive, professional service while contributing to ongoing technology improvements.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of modern workplace technologies including Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Apple device management, endpoint security and collaboration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive desktop and end-user support, managing incidents and service requests through to successful resolution.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience by communicating clearly and building strong relationships with users at all levels of the business.
- Manage the Joiners, Movers and Leavers process, including user accounts, device provisioning, licensing and secure offboarding.
- Configure, deploy and support Windows 11 devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and the wider Office suite.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption, helping users maximise productivity and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices and IT peripherals, maintaining accurate asset records.
- Administer corporate mobile devices through Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Intune.
- Support meeting room technology, AV equipment, printing solutions and workspace booking platforms.
- Assist with Teams Phone or UCaaS platforms, alongside LAN, Wi-Fi and office connectivity.
- Carry out proactive system health checks, patching support and routine maintenance.
- Contribute to endpoint security by supporting Defender, BitLocker, compliance policies and vulnerability remediation.
- Liaise with third-party technology vendors and managed service providers where required.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and end-user guides.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance the overall IT service.

You'll have previous experience supporting users within a professional services or financial services environment and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service alongside strong technical capability.
Your experience:
- Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA and user administration
- Apple Business Manager and iPhone device management
- Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online
- Endpoint security technologies including Microsoft Defender and BitLocker
- Wi-Fi, networking fundamentals and TCP/IP
- ITSM platforms and ITIL-based service delivery
- SaaS application administration and licence management
- Microsoft 365 Copilot (desirable)
- Dynamics 365 user support (desirable)
- Print management solutions and meeting room technologies (desirable)
- UCaaS or Teams Phone administration (desirable)
